Set a Work Schedule – Working from home allows you to have flexible hours but it does not imply that you can work whenever you want. You must fix a working schedule designed according to your convenience. Once the schedule is ready then follow it conscientiously.

Create a To-Do list – Create a to-do list of tasks which you want to finish that day. Order the list according to the priority of tasks and start clearing tasks having the highest priority. Also make sure to leave some empty slots in your to-do list to handle unexpected tasks that need immediate attention.

Setup a Work space – Setup a separate work space to work in. Working in the bedroom is definitely not the same as working in a home based office. Keep a separate room or at least a clear-cut work area with no distractions where you can focus on your work well.

Turn off your TV and music system – It is very easy to get yourself captivated in television shows and music while working at home. And you would not even know how much time you are wasting on it. So make sure to turn off your TV and music systems while you are doing work.

Limit your Internet usage – As almost all work at home people have to spend most of their time in front of a computer, it becomes very hard to control yourself from checking emails, reading blogs, updating “facebook” status and eventually wasting lot of the time in non productive activities. The ideal solution is to limit your internet usage while working. Also, use some free tools which can block the internet access for you during your working hours.

Inform your relatives and friends – Whenever people realize that you work from home they think that you are free for most of the time and they tend to call you and to disturb you whenever they want. So it is best to inform them beforehand about your daily schedule. When they call you, politely remind them about your working schedule and request them to “disturb” you later.

Like Valerian, ginseng can also give energy to people who are fatigued. It also stimulates the body to produce more amino acids, which are depleted when a person is under stress. Some herbalists believe that the best way to take the ginseng root is to eat it raw shortly after it comes out of the ground. When it’s that fresh, the Ginsenosides are at their most potent. Ginsenosides are chemicals that have anti-stress properties.

Chamomile

This herb has long been known for relaxing a person who drinks it in a tea. The plant is easily grown in all types of soil and has a lovely, apple-like fragrance. Many naturopaths recommend using chamomile to ease indigestion, as it’s very effective at soothing the stomach and digestive tract. The blossoms can be added to a warm bath to calm down anxious children, and some herbalists claim that if a pregnant woman bathes in chamomile her baby will not be fussy.

These herbs are all widely available at herb and health food stores and can be used after consulting your doctor and making sure there aren’t any interactions between an herb and your medication.
