Hair Up

Massage your hair with heated oil; almond or coconut oil is a good choice here. You can also mix two or three nourishing oils together and prepare your own secret concoction. Massage your scalp in gentle circular motions using the soft bud of your fingertips. Massaging your scalp for at least 10 to 15 minutes will improve the blood flow and thereby improving your hair quality. Shampoo and condition your hair as usual. Avoid running a comb on wet hair; let your hair dry off naturally. Applying a nourishing hair pack made of egg yolk and green tea every week is a great way to make your hair soft and glossy.

Body Scrub

Time to scrub away all those dead cells and dirt coating your body. Prepare a homemade scrub with 1 cup raw oats, 2 tablespoons of honey and 1 cup cream. Whisk the ingredients until they form into a fine paste. Lather your body with the scrub and let it dry off completely before scrubbing it clean with a loofah. Lather on some moisturizer on still wet skin or spritz some light scented oils to retain the moisture on the skin.

Chocolate Face Pack

No matter your skin type, here is a face pack that will make your skin smile. Take half cup cocoa, 2 tablespoons of honey and 1 cup whipped cream. Mix them well. Lather it across your face and neck. Breathe in the rich coco smell, close your eyes and relax. After 10 minutes, wash your face with warm water and pat it dry with clean towel. That iridescent glow that you were coveting after is just a cocoa pat away.

Pouty Lips

Whether you are blessed with full pouty lips or modest thin lips, you need to care for them the right way. Pick lip balms with natural ingredients and minimum SPF 10 in it. For dark lips, apply a slight coat of honey or glycerine every night. Make it a point to scrub your lips first thing in the morning with soft bristled brush or a cotton cloth. Removing dead skin will give your lips a natural pink tint and allow them to absorb moisture better.

Foot Care

Your spa day is not over without first taking care of your dainty feet. Soak your feet in warm water filled with sea salt and scented oils. Give them a thorough rub down with a soft bristled brush. Buff them with a soft cloth and follow it up with generous dollop of moisturizer. Clip and file those nails, apply a thin coat of nail protector follow it up with your favourite nail paint.
