    Four Elements That Work to Accelerate Positive Attraction

    law-of-attractionIf you’re at all familiar with the Law of Attraction, you know there are many elements involved in creating positive alignment with this Universal law. You also know it’s all about feel good emotions and high vibrations that align you with the Divine and the laws of the Universe.

    What I find as I work with the Law of Attraction and observe results is that there are four elements in particular that many of us miss or use inconsistently, so I’ve decided to offer my take on what we can all do to become more consistent with them and the benefits of doing so.

    There are of course many other important elements, but for today we’ll just take a look at the four I mention here and I’ll write about others in upcoming articles.

    The four elements are: 1) clear intentions; 2) unwavering faith); 3) detachment from outcomes, and 4) emotional gratitude.  Let’s take a look at each one on its own so you can determine if there are any you might be missing or using inconsistently.

    Clear Intentions. It’s easy to get off track with setting clear intentions.  Many of us unknowingly waffle back and forth with what it is we want, and when we do this constantly, we muddy the waters to the point where there’s just no clarity at all.  This puts us out of alignment with any clear intentions and leaves us wondering why we’re not experiencing positive attraction.

    If this one hits home for you, just relax and take some time to sit down and clarify what it is you want–what you really intend to attract and create.

    I find it easier to generalize rather than get overly specific because I think being too specific and having too many details muddies the waters even more.

    When I say generalize, I mean take for example the top five categories of life that are most important to you and write them down.

    I like to use the categories I set out below, but I also suggest using those that are most important to you and that you most resonate with. Here are my top five:

    1) good friends, laughter, and joy;

    2) wealth and abundance;

    3) good health;

    4) a career I love; and

    5) travel and recreation.

    This is an example of generalizing your intention. It covers a lot but is concise.  It isn’t loaded with specifics on any one of the five and allows the Universe to bring many different options for you in those various categories.  This is positive attraction.

    If you prefer to be more specific, try this:

    1) Take a piece of paper and on the left side of the page, write “what I do want,” and on the right side, write “what I don’t want;”

    2) Take some time to really consider both sides and write your responses under the appropriate heading;

    3) When you think you’ve completed both sides to the very best of your ability, tear off the “don’t want” side and recycle or burn it;

    4) Focus on your “do want” side. Doing this allows you to gain perspective and get very clear on what’s most important to you;

    5) Once you get very clear, write out those specific intentions based on what you narrowed down as your most significant and important “do wants.”

    Either of these methods is very defining for clearly intending what you want. Once you do one or the other (or any other methods you may come across and resonate with), do your best to be aware of what you’re putting out to the Universe so you keep your intentions clear and consistent.

    Do know that we all change as we grow and our wants and intentions are likely to change with us. This is perfectly fine and perfectly normal. Simply revisit your intentions and make any adjustments necessary to make the new or additional intentions clear.

    Again, having generalized intentions such as the simple categories I mentioned above allows a lot of room for growth and also many options the Universe can bring to you.

    Unwavering Faith.  This is one that I thought I was practicing without fail but as I observed my daily behaviors, I realized that wasn’t the case.

    Why? Well, when I had days where I doubted myself or perhaps spent time with my inner critic or wondering if things were ever going to manifest as I want them to, what I was doing was expressing a lack of faith.

    We all do it and we can easily get back on track, but sometimes we just don’t recognize that it’s happening.

    If this one hits home for you, now you’re aware and you can take steps to change it. Don’t beat yourself up.  Simply choose to have complete faith and recognize when you’re wavering so you can get back on course.

    It can be a bit of a challenge at times when we don’t seem to be getting the results we’re looking for, but what I always remind myself of when doubts rear their ugly heads is that everything happens in divine order. I relax into that thought, unwavering faith is restored, and the doubts disappear.

    Detachment from Outcomes. This was the leader of all inconsistencies for me, and when I finally learned to surrender to “what is” at any given moment and stopped focusing on outcomes, things began to change. In other words, I “detached” from outcomes by:

    1) accepting what’s taking place at any given moment;

    2) expecting only the best; and

    3) having faith that all is well.

    When I worked on this and redirected myself anytime I started to attach to an outcome or result, I started noticing obvious synchronicities, circumstances, and opportunities that were showing up pretty regularly. It really was one of my “aha” moments in terms of aligning with positive attraction.

    If this one stands out for you, make it your goal to pay attention to what you’re thinking and how you’re feeling.  Check in with yourself here and there each day.

    For example, when you find yourself focusing on and attached to an outcome, you can derail the attachment by changing your point of focus to positive thoughts.

    You can also show emotional gratitude for what’s already present in your life. This deflates the worry, fear, and attachment and gets you back into a positive mindset, thereby aligning with the Divine.

    We all have the power to choose what we focus on, what we think about, and how we feel, and the more we are aware of it and put it into practice, the sooner we experience positive attraction. That leads me to the fourth and final element I want to address in this article.

    Emotional Gratitude.

    In today’s hectic world, it’s easy to lose sight of how very fortunate and blessed we are. We’re always striving for the next best thing and sometimes forget all that we’ve been given.

    We seldom take the time to sit down quietly and show emotional gratitude for all of our many blessings.  It’s no one’s fault.  It’s simply an oversight that happens for just about all of us due to the hyper pace of life in today’s society.

    We have busy schedules and fast-paced lives that don’t allow us to set aside time to connect with our inner selves or really consider the many blessings that come to us every day. This is a great disconnect that most of us unknowingly experience.

    If this hits home for you, you can change it. How?  Slow down.  Take a few deep breaths.  Set aside time to reconnect with yourself each day.  Find a quiet place where you can relax and not be disturbed.  Get comfortable and quietly express sincere and emotional gratitude for every blessing in your life right at that moment.

    Doing this allows you to reconnect with what’s important to you, understand the enormous value there is in each day you’re alive here on this planet, and show great appreciation for it—a very powerful way to generate positive emotional energy that aligns with the Divine and the oh so powerful Law of Attraction.

    I hope learning more about these four elements allows you to understand them more clearly and put more consistent practices to work for you.
